Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.
As you may have noticed, spring knocked on our door and even thought here in canada it rimes with rainy and chilly days, I felt like makeup shopping was exactly what I needed to feel better.
I bought the first 5 items online during the Sephora Spring Sale, and they include:
I have heard really good reviews on this product, especially when you have an oily T-zone. I did not use the product yet so I’m not going to give you my opinion on this for the moment, but knowing the Origins skin care line, I think I’m really going to like it.
One thing I really love doing is trying out different kind of mascaras. Except the Hoola bronzer, I never tried anything from Benefit and so I decided to try their mascara. In general I like my lashes to be very thick but this mascara doesn’t do that. I really like it and it’s different from what I’m used to. People have told me it looks curlier
So for this product, I read a lot of mixed review, and added to my cart completely at the end. I wasn’t sure if I wanted it but I figured I should try a new lip balm considering my last one wasn’t a success. After multiple tries, I loved it! I loved the smell as well as the feeling of moisture and tingling it leaves behind. The smell of Menthol, which derives from peppermint, is very strong so I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t like that odeur. I noticed you do need to reapplies a few times during the day, and a thin layer is quite enough, but for the price of 7$ it’s really not that bad.
The only reason I bough this was because I never owned a lip scrub before, and I knew of the brand so I thought why not. I tried to DIY my own lip scrub a few weeks ago, but it left my lips so chapped and in pain. To fix that and try to have smooth lips again, I decided to try the Fresh Lip Scrub. What I loved to most about it was probably the flavor of the scrub as well as the fact that it doesn’t hurt your lips while you rub it. After you wash it off, your lips look brighter, fresher and juicier.
Now this is something I didn’t quit like. I tried it once and now I’m scared to use it again. I have heard so many things about it and people told me it was good but unfortunately it dried up my skin so badly and right after I applied it, I could feel my cheeks burning. The irritation levels around my mouth went through the roof. I am going to give it a few more shots before I decide if I really hate the product or if I just didn’t use it properly the first time.
Then I went in store and I purchased the next 4 items…
I already have a few single eyeshadows from Sephora and I just wanted to add a few more to my collection. Plus I don’t have any yellow shades but it will be perfect for the spring and summer time.
This is what I’m the most excited about! I had my eye on this palette for months now! Everyone was raving about it and I just had to buy it. The colors are mesmerising and pigmented and they blend together so beautifully! The more I try this brand and the more I fall in love with it. If you need a palette that has all the neutral colors and then some more, I would definitely suggest this one; you will not regret it!
This is also something I bought for the summer and spring time. By nature, I tend to always go neutral and have nothing too bright or too shinny on my face but recently I really enjoyed trying out new thing and I had this vision of a magnificent makeup look with a pink liner that I would love to try. It’s waterproof and it does stay for a long time, And they do have a big range of colors tat you can choose from.
I took this as a last item to store all my single shadows. It great for travelling as well.
So this is it for my Sephora Haul! I hope you enjoyed reading all this and it gave you a few ideas on what to buy next 🙂
I will be using many of these product in my next YouTube videos so go Subscribe! I will be posting every Monday during the summer break and you don’t want to miss out!
Big kisses and we’ll talk soon!
